DrumHeart is both a class and a performing group. To participate, a drummer must audition and receive approval from the Music Director. 

There is a tuition fee for each of the three 12-week sessions. The fee pays for practice space, use of drums, instruction, commissioned and original music pieces, and ensemble uniforms. 

We develop musically in a caring, fun, supportive, respectful, and cooperative environment.  We place a high value on each woman’s unique contribution to the ensemble. 

Rehearsals are usually on Thursday evenings, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Women's Drum Center. There are also some Sunday rehearsals.  Please see the calendar for further information.
